Sentinel is not a venture-backed startup. There is no growth team, no analytics SDK, no "data partnership" line on a roadmap. It is one developer who needed this tool, built it, and decided to give it away rather than charge for it.

No other names, no other faces. Sentinel works with people who can be targeted for who they are or what they carry — keeping the maintainer's attack surface small is part of the threat model, not a marketing decision.

Your phone is yours.
No telemetry. No "anonymous usage stats." If a feature cannot ship without watching you use it, it does not ship.
Defense, not theatre.
Every indicator and lockdown maps to a real, documented technique. Limits are stated honestly.
Free for the public.
No subscription, no upsell, no "Pro" tier hiding the security features. Free download, lifetime updates.
Open for developers.
Android developers are invited to read, fork, and build better tools on top. The goal is more privacy in the world — not a moat.
